Berktree Learning Center began in 2006, as an in-home or library based tutoring service. Originally known as Berkman Education Services, we provided in-home one-on-one tutoring services, SAT/ACT preparation courses and independent study. In 2012, we changed our name to Berktree Learning Center and opened our office in Aliso Viejo, offering the full array of one-on-one and group tutoring services still available today. In 2017, we relocated to our new larger facility in Aliso Viejo.

Kiana Berkman,
Co-Owner & Director
Kiana was raised and educated in Orange County, and graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where she studied Chemistry, Anthropology and Education. She began her work in the field of education in 1998, working as a private one-on-one tutor for local middle and high school students. In 2006, after working for several different tutoring companies, she started her own education company. Her rich background in multiple subjects and her connections to Orange County schools has enabled many students to navigate the education system and meet their academic goals.
Daniel Berkman,
Co-Owner
Daniel is a second generation Anteater, a graduate from the University of California, Irvine, where he studied History and Math, as well as educational theory. He has been in the education field since 2001, and has served as a college lab tutor and teacher’s assistant, a private one-on-one tutor, and a high school math teacher. His wide array of subject mastery and experiences in various educational settings enables him to tutor nearly any student and subject.
